MUMBAI: ‘Mirzapur’ premiered first on Amazon Prime Video on 16th November, 2018. The crime thriller season was soon renewed for season two. Created by Karan Anshuman and Gurmmet Singh, it is produced by Excel Entertainment.
The show follows Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi), a mafia boss and his son, Munna on a rampage to continue the legacy in the violently absorbed Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.
Due to long and uncertain delay that the pandemic has caused, many productions were at a halt; nevertheless Mirzapur had already been filmed last year.

Although it appears that the cast has started dubbing for the upcoming season. Actors ‘Shweta Tripathi’ (Gajgamini Gupta), Divyendu V Sharmaa (Munna), Rasika Duggal (Beena Tripathi), and Ali Fazal (Guddu Pandit) all took tobtheir social media platforms to announce of the beginning of the dubbing process in new ways being at home during the pandemic.
The audience with see more greed, violence, power, and sacrifices in the city of Mirzapur. You can now stream season 1 of ‘Mirzapur’ only on Amazon Prime.
