MUMBAI: Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar on Netflix has arrived as a treat from Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the world audience, garnering immense love from all corners. While the show has received tremendous praise for the performances of the actors, Sharmin Segal, who played the character of Alamzaib, has been unanimously applauded for her performance. As the audience loves her character in the show, she admires the character of Kashi Bai from SLB's Bajirao Mastani, played by Priyanka Chopra, and it is also one role from SLB's filmography that she wishes she could have played.

Recently, during an interview when Sharmin Segal was asked ever looking at SLB's  filmography, did you ever feel like, this is one female character by Sanjay sir that I wish I could have done one someday? Replying to this, Sharmin said, "Kashi. Because she's very vulnerable. Priyanka Chopra has done it amazingly. I don't think I'd ever be able to live up to that but yeah, Kashi."
