We recently got into a candid conversation with producer and director Ashish Kumar. Ashish spilled the beans about his recent web show Shaadi Shuda and 302, his Punjabi music label, and also his upcoming web series Tinder.

On his journey in the film industry, ''I used to work as a Telecommunication Manager in Reliance, but my heart was always in the creative field, I always dreamt of making a mark in the entertainment industry and then eventually my first Punjabi feature film Ullu De Pathe happened. I also went on to produce The Lenders which is in Punjabi and has prominent actors like Upasana Singh, BN Sharma, and others, we now plan for the worldwide release of the film.''

He continues, '' Web-series is a hit among the young generation of India and so we thought to make something for the younger lot, I produced a web series 45 Days which is a thriller and it is soon going to be launched on a major OTT platform. I then went ahead to produce my first murder mystery titled 302 which is also a Punjabi movie and is based on a debatable topic.''

Ashish goes on to reveal about his most awaited project, '' I recently shot for Shaadi Shuda which is now in Post-Production stage and it stars veteran artist like Mushtaq Khan, Sahil Prabhakar, Mrs. India Isha Gulati, Manoj Bakshi of Bajrani Bhaijaan fame, veteran actor Rakesh Bedi and many other prominent figures. The web show will be a complete family drama and the audience is going to thoroughly enjoy our concept.''

He continues, '' Tinders is special to me as I am going to direct it as well as produce it. The web show will be based on the 95' era and we will go back 20 years ago in time to show how a particular community in Punjab was infamous for its notorious juveniles who were involved in petty crimes to make easy money. The movie will be a fresh and completely raw take on those lives and times.''

Ashish concludes, '' Tinders will not be just another crime-thriller, I would present the story with a brand new approach on juvenile crimes and the mind which goes behind such acts. I will treat people with a genre of my own. OTT platform has definitely given a sense of freedom to content creators and we shall surely use it diligently.''

Tinders is soon going on the floors and will be produced by Ashish Kumar, Saurabh Goel, and Akash Gupta. The web series will be directed by Ashish Kumar and stars Sahil Prabhakar, Sparsh Shrivastav in the lead roles.
