MUMBAI: Kapil Sharma needs no introduction in the comic world of entertainment.
He began his journey way back in 2013 with his program 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', which was a tremendous hit, and after that he took a long sabbatical and returned with his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
Two years back the show went off - air and Kapil had promised the audience that they would be back with a new season soon.
The show returned back with a completely new season and it streamed on Netflix which was a huge success.
The show had gone off-air a week back and promised to be back with Season 3
The entire cast comprised of, Krushna Abhishek, Rajeev Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh will continue the show whereas Sumona Chakravarti won't be part of this new season.

There were news doing the rounds that Season 3 might not stream on Netflix and that it would return back on Sony Television though there was no confirmation on the same.
As per reliable sources, the show is not shifting to any television channel and Season 3 will stream on Netflix.
“Kapil Sharma is going nowhere. He'll be staying on Netflix long after season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Their association is thriving and will last for many more seasons. All rumors of him switching over to any other channel or platform are just that, baseless rumors,” reveals a reliable source close to the platform.
Well, there is no doubt that the two seasons that streamed on Netflix were very successful and loved by the audience.
