MUMBAI:Keshav Mehta is known for his performance in the TV show Appnapan. The young actor has now made his OTT debut with Amazon Mini TV’s Jab We Matched which started streaming on the platform recently.
TellyChakkar recently interacted with Keshav and spoke to him about the series, and a lot more…
What response are you getting for Jab We Matched?
I play Karan in the fourth episode of Jab We Matched, Formula Sheet. It is getting a lot of good responses; it’s trending on Amazon Mini TV right now. I loved playing the character because it was completely different from what I played in Appnapan.
How was your experience of working with Revathi Pillai?
Working with Revathi was a really good experience as obviously, she has done a lot of web series; she has ventured a lot into OTT. This was my debut in OTT, and we were talking as friends, we were talking about daily routine things, acting, cinema, and about general stuff. So, it didn’t really feel like that was any gap there; the conversations, the mood, everything was flowing very well and no wonder, our scenes came out well.
Were you not a bit hesitant to take up a role for your OTT debut where you are not the protagonist but in a second lead?
Initially, I was obviously a little hesitant as it was a secondary character and I had already played a primary part in a TV show with Balaji (Telefilms). But, leaving all that aside the script was really good. While I was reading the script my smile was getting wider, so that’s why I loved the character and I loved the script. So, that’s what got me on board.
Well, we are sure Keshav’s fans are very happy to see him in Jab We Matched.
