MUMBAI: Koffee with Karan is a Bollywood chat show. The biggies of the Industry grace it and interact with the host Karan Johar.
The show has had six successful seasons, and now it is back with the seventh season.
The show didn’t stop, initially, it was aired on Star World but now it will stream on Hotstar.
The last season was a huge success with celebrities coming on the couch and bearing their heart out.
A new season has begun and the show is doing exceptionally well and is gaining good viewership for this season.
In the latest episode, the original Student Of The Year students Sidharth and Varun graced the show where they spoke about their personal and professional lives.
On the show, Karan revealed how Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan didn’t want Alia to be casted in their debut movie “Student Of The Year”.
He said that they both tried their best to convince him not to cast Alia as they thought she was a misfit and how Varun was suggesting auditions and pictures of other girls to Karan.
Karan then revealed how Alia was waiting in the vanity van post the mock shoot as she didn’t know anyone out there and when he told that she got the movie, the actress broke down.
Both Sidharth and Varun denied saying that they never tried to convince Karan to not cast Alia in the movie. They also said when they started to shoot with her, they knew what a fabulous actress she is and that she would go a long way.
Well, there is no doubt that both Alia, Sidharth and Varun started their career together and all three have become successful, going a long way when it comes to films.
Well, the episode was an entertaining one where Varun as usual was pulling Karan Johar’s leg and was having fun.
