MUMBAI: Koffee With Karan is back with season 8 and the who’s who of the Bollywood industry are all set to grace the show each episode.
This season, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are seen gracing the opening episode and spilling out the hottest beans of gossip, hidden secrets, their POV’s on situations and happenings in the industry and ofcourse, some juicy tales that the audience would want to know about them!
As Deepika and Ranveer marked their presence, Deepika was seen opening up to Karan about her days when she was in depression and how Ranveer helped her deal with it.

She mentioned that back in 2014, there was a time when she did not feel like staying alive. She said that she was going through depression and was in a very dark phase at that time. Deepika said that she was on the breakfast table with Ranveer when she started weeping uncontrollably. Ranveer could not understand the reason behind her outburst of tears and called her mother immediately. However, she was quite in control on her arrival.
As Deepika’s mother left, she once again started crying and expressed to her that she could not understand what was happening to her and that she did not feel like living anymore. Her mother realized that Deepika needed professional help and they proceeded with the same.
It must be noted that this is the same year when Deepika did four back to back films – Ram Leela, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and Race 4!
Ranveer recalls how one day he was shooting and he got a call from Deepika where she said that she had blacked out and was going to be faint and how he ran and was shocked to see Deepika as she was lost and he could sense something was wrong.
