His latest film, Logout, marks another bold step in his journey. Released on 18th April, the thriller dives into the psychological consequences of digital overexposure and explores the blurred lines between reality and the virtual world. His performance in Logout has been praised for its intensity and vulnerability, reinforcing that Babil is a promising talent to watch in the coming years.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, director Amit Golani was asked about the process of coming up with such a variety of content like Mamla Legal Hai, Kaala Paani and more.
Amit Golani said, “I think main iss (Logout) specific script ki toh bata sakta hoon kyuki, iska shayad mere paas answer hai.”
he added, “Iss script ke liye toh hum kisi aur story pe kaam kar rahe the, main aur Biswa hum log jam karte rehte hai baithke kisi bhi idea pe, aur uske plot point mein bas aisa aaya tha ke agar fir is point pe iss character ka phone ghum ho jaye toh kaisa hoga? And wahan se jab hum usko explore karna ry kiya aur khud ko uss situation mein daal ke dekh rahe the toh humein laga ke yaar actually mein aaj ki date mein har ek cheez phone se karta hoon matlab mujhe toh number bhi yaad nahi hai kisi ke bhi, in fact har cheez mein phone kaam aata hai. Toh humein laga apne aap mein yeh ek feature length script ban sakti hai. Yeh plot apne aap mein ek bada plot hai. Wahan se aaya and then baad mein social media aur uss sabka angle dala but genesis I think waha se hua hai story ka.”
