MUMBAI: After ruling the south film industry, Sobhita Dhulipala has had a stellar acting journey on OTT platforms, Bollywood and Hollywood and her momentum only continues to build. In the slice-of-life family drama, she brings her character Sitara, a fiercely independent interior designer, to life with dedication and finesse. In a candid conversation, when asked about her process of choosing roles that are relatable,Sobhita commented,“I have been fortunate that I’ve had the chance to play parts like this (Sitara). I feel I probably play parts that are far more relatable than the conventional ones because I feel like real women are a bunch of contradictions put together. They have a voice; they leave a footprint of their own and I’ve had the chance to play parts like that, so I have been fortunate.”
