Revealing his take on comedy, Manas said, ''I am totally against this type of comedy where someone is insulted, and becomes a medium to crack jokes. I am very clear about it. I will never appreciate such a thing and also never become a part of such type of comedy content. If you are insulting or humiliating someone in the name of roasting just to create comedy, it makes no sense. There is also a limit to it. For me, comedy should be clean. I feel one uses abusive words when your power, efforts and hard work is not enough to create comedy.''

Shedding light on Ranveer's comments, Manas said, ''Ranveer committed a mistake, he apologised for it. He should be forgiven for this.''

He added, ''My point is when India's Got Latent was presenting so many episodes till now, where were these people who are now wanting the show to be banned? I would like to tell the viewers that if you feel that such shows shouldn't be made then you should promise yourself to not see such content. They got so many views which is why they got the motivation and thought that they are doing something good and it just went on. There emerged a competition and they crossed the level of vulgarity too. That's also a very small word and a very ugly feeling. For me, it is very disturbing. I can only take my own responsibility.''

Well said, Manas!
