MUMBAI: Mazhar Kamran, who has worked as a cinematographer on Bollywood films like "Satya", "Jhankaar Beats" and "Masti", is happy that his short film "The Photographer" has been released on a digital platform.
The short film is about a man who has an illusion of photography.
"I feel that this is the right time for films like 'The Photographer' to reach audiences and JioCinema.com, seems the perfect platform. I want everyone to stay at home and maintain social distancing. Meanwhile they want to watch movies on various platforms," said Naresh Shroff, the film's protagonist.

"The Photographer" had a world premiere at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
The lead actor & protagonist, Naresh Shroff, is an award-winning crusader for his dedicated work in the field of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). His interest in films is to convey through films, the true meaning of CSR and the crusade behind it. Currently Naresh, the expert on CSR is working on projects he plans to take off with post lockdown like preventive health gears for care workers, building toilet corridors(sanitation) etc.
