MUMBAI: After a wait of around more than 2 years, finally the 2nd season of the much-awaited show Mirzapur was out on 23rd October 2020, and the fans all over were not keeping calm or sharing their views on the series. We have seen the show got mixed reviews from the fans on social media, but there are a larger amount of people who loved the characters more than the series alone.
Well, TellyChakkar interacted with one of the most loved characters Munna Bhaiyya played by Divyenndu Sharma.
Exclusively talking to us the actor revealed, that he was very much happy on playing the role of Munna Bhaiyya, and said even though this character of Munna was intense and somewhat dark, he loved to do something out of the box and was loving the reaction the fans were giving him right from season 1.
The actor said he could feel that he carried the character Munna after the shoot also, there were times people around him told him that he was reacting like the character and that’s when the actor realized and took a U-Turn.

The actor also revealed the challenging part while shooting Munna on sets, the actor said, Munna was wicked right since season 1 and that’s what the character was all about, so in this season, Munna got Married and so, the character was falling towards his wife and family, which was completely different from what we saw Munna in season 1. So this change in character was a little challenging the actor revealed how and why Munna was changed.
The actor also expressed his feeling for his co-stars who were not working with him in this season, like Shriya Pilgaonkar, Vikrant Massey, Abhishek Banerjee, and said, he missed them a lot in this season and every time he asked the director that killing their characters was a must? well this indeed shows the bond the actors have among them.
