Actor Mohit Nain played a negative character in the project and is excited for the movie to be released on Netflix. Sharing his excitement, Mohit said, “Penalty has been a great learning experience. It gave me a great opportunity to learn and observe talented actors like Kay Kay Menon. It was quite challenging to play the negative shade character. There are many fond memories from the shooting. I remember we used to practise a lot of football for the project. Also, I really loved the way the project has turned out to be and how beautifully the makers have showed the discrimination that people from other states does to the people from Northeast. The movie is a family watch and a great entertainer”.
Penalty will release on Netflix on 5 July.
