If you go back in time and get a chance to meet Vikram Sarabhai, what would you ask him?
I would like to know how he functioned and how he was able to do so much in limited time. I would love to see what his diet was, and what kind of supplements he was taking to be so energetic.
You have done movies earlier, but the audience knows you for being a part of shows like Paatal Lok and Rocket Boys. So, do you think OTT has given you a chance to explore more as an actor?
Yes, for sure; there’s no doubt about that. OTT has also given me a chance to work with filmmakers like Sudip Sharma, Avinash Arun, Nikhhil Advani, Abhay Pannu and other people with whom I am working now. I was very hopeful that I will get this response as I was consistently working in that direction for many years. I feel OTT gave makers an opportunity to tell the stories that they wanted to and it gave me a chance to play characters like Sarabhai and Imran in Paatal Lok.
Tell us something about your upcoming projects.
I have a few releases, I don’t know when, but this year for sure. There’s an Amazon show called Adhura, there’s a film titled Bas Karo Aunty which will be on Hotstar mostly, and there’s another film called Berlin.
