MUMBAI: Lock Upp streams on Alt Balaji and MX Player on all days. The show has Poonam Pandey, Pahal Rohatgi, Sara Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Ali Mercchant, Kaaranvir Bohra, Nisha Rawal, and others as its controversial celebrity contestants. The celebrities who have left the reality prison until now are Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, Tehseen Poonawalla, Siddharth Sharma, and Babita Phogat.
Mandana Karimi is the newest contestant. The actress who has charges of ‘creating controversies’ has stirred up the environment of the house. The latest episode witnessed a clash between her and Payal Rohatgi.
The kaidis were given a task of churning out coconut milk from the pile of coconuts they were provided with. The blue team member won the task. Meanwhile, the members of the orange team Mandana and Payal got into an argument after the former accused the latter of bossing around during the task.
After confronting each other, the two went their ways and discussed the issue with other inmates. While sitting with Ali Merchant and Saisha Shinde, Mandana addressed Payal and said, “Payal, I was looking for an opportunity to tell you this but I think it’s a great time now. Now is the right time, there is a hashtag outside trending called ‘Save Sangram’. And it was a great time to tell you now. I was looking for an opportunity, jo ki hai #SaveSangram jo ki trending hota hai.” Mandana continued and said that she has understood why has that hashtag been made and is trending too. She further added that she didn’t take it seriously outside because she thought that what one sees on screen is edited. Further, she said that she has now understood the reality behind it after conversing with Payal.
Meanwhile, Payal went on to mention about her ‘domestic violence’ case against her estranged husband Gaurav Gupta. “Khudke pati pe domestic violence ka case lagaya tha.” She continued to speak about Mandana’s controversial past and called her estranged husband ‘bechara ladka’.
Mandana had accused her husband and in-laws. Later, she withdrew the case.
Sangram and Payal Rohatgi got engaged on 27 February 2014. Sangram had recently declared that he will marry her in July. The announcement came after Payal emotionally expressed her frustration at not being married despite dating Sangram for 12 years. Ending all speculation about their relationship, Sangram declared their wedding date.
