MUMBAI: Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 finally came to an end today as the finale took place and the audience finally found a winner in Elvish Yadav and Abhishek malhan aka Fukra Insaan was the first runner-up.
This season has become a huge craze and has been trending online since the show started and has been declared a blockbuster season.
Pooja Bhatt’s participation on the show came as a surprise, to many on the Grand Premier night, but she turned the game around with her participation. She went through a journey of her own and put herself out there after many years in the business and was a tough contender no doubt.
TellyChakkar caught up with the actress who came in at 5th position, to talk about a few things, including Abhishek’s comments and more.
When asked about Abhishek Malhan’s comments that he made about running the show, she said, “I was sad about it, because we being a part of this industry I have seen many situations where many great artists have come before us, and where there is a feeling of overconfidence, that just after giving a shot, people try to show what a great actor he or she is, or they will present a movie that the audience will like, the audience will show you your place. Many times things have happened where the industry has said that a certain movie will work, and people have rejected and they have celebrated movies, that people said would be a flop. Overconfidence is something that will eventually give you a reality check to everyone. I got very disappointed because Abhishek had the potential to take the trophy home and which is why I supported him many times. People asked me many times, that why did I give the golden apple to Abhishek and not Bebika during the nominations wala task, my reasons were simple, I did want people to say to Bebika that she got ahead in the game because Pooja Bhatt, yes I did support her with all my heart because she was an underdog and she was very atypical, she came with a clean slate, and people told me not to support her but nobody can tell me what to do and what not do. And she was in the top 5, which was a desire that both of us had and I told Abhishek that he would win, but you have to be deserving and earn that trophy because from what I have seen with previous contestants is that, people who have strategized or tried to be cunning have never won, but people who have with all their heart have lived this journey, have won”.
She further said, “And somewhere Abhishek had the burden of winning and he stopped enjoying the journey but when the episodes aired, there was a big change in him, Abhishek is a very good boy, he’s a nice guy, and I got the greatest compliment from him, when he said, ‘Thankyou very much, I have never gotten to know a personality like you so up close, I met you and I met Bhatt sahab, and I saw an aura around you and I will develop it one day, and I was very moved with his generosity and I thanked him But I have experienced it myself that overconfidence taught me a lesson and when I unsure, when I was vulnerable, the world very graciously accepted it.”
