MUMBAI: Avinash Sachdev is a well-known personality in the television industry and he is being around for more than a decade.
He has been a part of serials like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Ek Baar Phir, Balika Vadhu, Choti Bahu, Ayushman Bhava, etc.
These days, he was grabbing headlines for his stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where he emerged as the underdog contestant. In the initial days, he didn’t perform well, but then as the weeks were passing by, he began to play well and reached here.
Unfortunately, he was eliminated from the show just a week before the finale of the show due to less votes.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Avinash to ask him about his relationship with Falaq and what he had to say about Jiya and his friendship.
How was your Bigg Boss journey?
It was very progressive as in the beginning if you have seen, you cannot compare it to the end, it was a progressive graph. Now when I came out, I can see some social media trends who say that I was a game changer. It was a big achievement and a remarkable journey.
What if your friendship with Jiya didn't last?
Whatever she wanted to do, she did. She used to be selfish and play the game. She was only thinking about herself and the game and all this came from her. It was a personality trait and I wasn’t like that as I wanted to do what I felt like doing. At the end, I had to face myself and the journey, and the relationship I have made was important than the trophy. Jiya played however she wanted to and somewhere because of her, I have been eliminated. I am not angry or sad because of that, but if she thinks that the friendship will remain the same, that won’t be possible.
Falaq had said that she didn’t reject your proposal and when you come out she will meet you and then think about it, what do you have to say about it?
Whatever she said is right and I am also on the same page. The best part is that we don’t have to make anyone understand. No one is forcing anyone to say things in a certain way and we will do what we want. We will see where the relationship goes. We are taking it very slowly. Her priorities are different and I am somewhere else. Post Bigg Boss, there is a lot of work to be done. So let's see.
Well, there is no doubt that Avinash was a strong contestant on the show and unfortunately, he was eliminated.
