MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji.
The audience has given it a thumbs-up. Kangana Ranaut has made her OTT debut with the show as the host. The entire concept is a setup in jail.
The contestants are going all out to survive in the show and become finalists.
Last week, Zeeshan Khan was eliminated from the show owing to his fight with Azama. Thus, fans were disappointed.

Post his eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor, who spoke about his journey and revealed who the mastermind of the game is. His girlfriend Reyhnaa Pandit joined him.
How was your journey on the show?
The journey was good. It had a lot of highs and lows and was a little bit bumpy. But I think I did what I wanted to do. I was brought in mid-show, and many people in the house and outside thought about what I will do since I was a wild-card entry, but I did everything. I aced the tasks, and I made friends. In the first week only, I established myself as a strong contestant.
I took a stand for my mom and girlfriend who weren't there in the house to defend themselves.
Reyhnaa Pandit: I loved his game. There is a saying that your love goes through a lot of tests, and I can say that through all the games that he was part of, he proved himself as a good and loyal boyfriend. I am in love with him and I am glad we found each other. It's a reality show, and if one keeps boundaries on such shows, then it cannot be called reality. I don’t get why biased decisions are taken. Someone should make a reality show where only men or only women participate.
Do you think you were provoked?
I will not deny that what I did was wrong, and when Prince and Manuwar came and explained things to me, I realised I was wrong. Even when the jailor and the guards came and told me that I would get a punishment, I took it with a smile and apologised, but still, I was evicted.
Imagine someone like Prince, who just entered the house, was losing his cool. I have been provoked for 2 weeks and no one came forward to help or discuss things. If you talk about feminism, then Payal also called me a terrorist and spat on me. She apologised but was not eliminated. But after apologising and taking the punishment also, I am out of the house, so I really don’t know what the problem was.
Who do you think is the mastermind of the show and the possible winner?
Right now, it has to be Munawar. He is playing the game extremely well. I wouldn't say Prince as I am confused if he is a contestant or someone who has come to cause trouble. But after him, it would be Anjali, as she is also very smart in the game, but she is not as practical as Munawar. He plays the game in a practical way and knows how to reach the finale of the show.
Well, no doubt that Zeeshan Khan was a very strong player of the game and the audience misses him on the show.
