MUMBAI: Reality show titled Lock Upp launched with 17 contestants who are locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive. It streams on MX Player and ALTBalaji. The audience has given it a thumbs-up. Kangana Ranaut has made her OTT debut with the show as a host. She guides the contestants.

In a recent episode, Payal Rohatgi’s decision of cards distribution amongst her teammates has gone against her. Her team abandoned her during her confinement in jail.

They bashed her for ruining the task and making them fall in a miserable situation. Chetan Hansraj questioned why she ‘screws up’ everything for the team. Nisha Rawal asked Payal what was her decision based on and why didn’t she choose to discuss it with the team. Ali Merchant lashed out at her. Payal refused to talk to Ali.

However, the latter told her that he wants to talk and said, “I have never seen a fake woman like you in my life but I still love you, because this is the nature I have in my life. My driver, my boy or my three managers, unme zyada dimaag hai. Aapko kya lagta hai, you’re smart? Aapse zyada jhuthi aurat maine zindagi mein nahi dekhi. I felt bad, we all felt bad. But mujhe lagta hai main chu**** tha that I got carried away, bhai inpe ye hua zulm to let me be nice, let her go in.”

Meanwhile, Payal kept her ears closed and said that she doesn’t want to talk and listen. She told Nisha that she would talk to her but later when she is alone.

All this while, Ali kept accusing Payal of wronging him and the team. Standing a little afar from the confinement area, he proclaimed that she couldn’t do any good for either herself or for her team.

The show witnessed a shocking eviction recently. Babita Phogat, the renowned wrestler who had joined the show with a lot of expectations and promises, has been eliminated from the Lock Upp jail. The show has seen three eliminations before her: Godman Swami Chakrapani in the first week, political analyst Tehseen Poonawala in the second, and Siddharth Sharma in a surprise elimination.

Lock Upp is an engaging captive reality show with all the ingredients that will keep you glued to your seat.
