MUMBAI: Mirzapur will premiere its third season on July 5. Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, and Vijay Varma are among the show's skilled cast. One of the most common ideas among fans asking what's next is a crossover with other Prime Video shows. During an interview with a news agency, Ali Fazal accidentally revealed that Mirzapur 3 will feature a cameo by Jitendra Kumar's character Sachiv Ji from Panchayat.

He said, “That’s cross-promotion. We have done that.” That is what we have accomplished. Additionally, the agency revealed that Jitendra Kumar will play Sachiv Ji in two episodes, dealing with paperwork related to the death of Pankaj Tripathi's character, Kaleen Bhaiya.

Spilling beans on the upcoming season of Mirzapur, Ali Fazal told the popular news portal that it has taken a different route with more grip on drama. “Interestingly, we have introduced hand combat. We lose some important characters, but we gain some new ones. I underwent a different kind of preparation, which was fun,” he added.

Ali also acknowledged that his character in the Mirzapur franchise turned out to be a “career-defining” role, holding significance for the industry. He also admitted that the show gave him more opportunities and expanded his horizons, further explaining that its impact was very different from typical shows, affecting the trajectory of his Hollywood journey.

Recently, the show's trailer was released, promising more violence, drama, and power plays. Guddu Bhaiya tries to prove his power over Purvanchal while Rasika Duggal’s character switches sides to join him.

Fans of Mirzapur are a little let down because, regrettably, they will not be seeing their favorite character, Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyenndu, this time. Because viewers connected so strongly with Munna Bhaiya's character, even after his death at the end of Mirzapur 2, they had hoped the makers may bring him back.
