MUMBAI: Shaheer Sheikh has been impressing fans with his acting contribution. The actor who never fails to win hearts with his projects and roles is now all set to play one of the most loved characters of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Manav from Pavitra Rishta.

The trailer of the new version of Pavitra Rishta, which will premiere on the ZEE5, is finally out. The trailer was launched during a virtual press conference in the presence of the leading actors Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Shaikh and the director of the web series.

SHAHEER SHEIKH ON PLAYING MANAV IN PAVITRA RISHTA

Shaheer Sheikh revealed that he was very nervous to play Manav on screen, one of the most loved characters of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He had to understand the character and the simplicity of it. He did not have to do any special preparation, but once he got the grip of the character, everything went in the flow. Manav is one of the most earnest characters he has played in his life.

While interacting with the media, Shaheer revealed that initially, he got mixed reactions from fans all over when they came to know that he will be seen playing Manav in the upcoming web show. Some liked the news and others did not. But when the first look teaser was out, fans loved it, and now, he is getting some amazing comments. It is a very big responsibility to play Manav on screen because what late actor Sushant Singh Rajput did was phenomenal. And he is looking forward to seeing whether fans will accept him as Manav.
