MUMBAI:Citadel is being made internationally and Raj & DK are making the Indian installment of the series. Earlier, there were reports that Raj & DK will be making the remake of the international Citadel, however, the official announcement of the web series read, “We are thrilled to officially announce that we will be bringing you the Indian installment of the Citadel universe. The local Original spy series will start filming in January 2023.”

In December last year, the makers shared Varun Dhawan’s first look and recently, they unveiled Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s first look poster. While Varun and Samantha will be seen in the Indian installment of Citadel, the international version stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.

TellyChakkar recently did a poll on Instagram and asked the followers which Citadel beauty they are looking forward to, Priyanka Chopra or Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Well, the poll results are out and surprisingly the result is 50-50. Samantha has received 50 percent of the votes and PeeCee has also received 50 percent of the votes.

So, this means that the audience is excited to watch both Priyanka and Samantha in Citadel. But well, the premiere dates of both series are not yet announced.

The Indian installment of the Citadel will be Samantha’s second project with Raj & DK. She had teamed up with the director duo in The Family Man season 2. With The Family Man 2 and her special dance number in Pushpa, Samantha gained popularity in the Hindi belt as well. Now, everyone is keen to see her in a Bollywood film
