Really! Kunal Vijayakar reacts to Sudha Murty’s comments about not eating at Non-vegetarian restaurants, here’s what he said

MUMBAI:  Well Known author, food writer and actor Kunal Vijayakar hosts a show on Youtube called Khane Mein Kya Hai where many well known personalities have made an appearance. Recently children’s author and philanthropist Sudha Murty was a guest on his show. Her statements of eating only in vegetarian restaurants as non veg food might also be served in the same utensils, caused a stir among many. Sudha’s son-in-law Rishi Sunak is the Prime Minister of UK.

Kunal however said that it is her business what she wants to eat and chooses not to. He said, “I just asked her how the food is at 10 Downing Street so she said I eat at my son’s house because I am purely vegetarian.” He further added, “I have a feeling that because the son’s house is probably purely vegetarian and she was very sort of ‘I don’t eat in non veg restaurants because I am a pure vegetarian.’ Even if the food is cooked in utensils… a lot of people are like that, it’s not only Sudha Murty, you know enough people who don’t want to touch non veg.”

Kunal added, “What we eat is our business, nobody else’s business honestly. And it is her business what she wants to eat, it is her choice.”
