MUMBAI: Rebel Kid aka Apoorva Makhija is one of the most talked about celebrities at the moment. The popular actress rose to fame after her recent controversy on The Latent Show. After her controversial remarks, Makhija along with others faced legal actions. Following the legal case, Apoorva was ousted from her Mumbai apartment.
In a cooking video with Farah Khan, Apoorva spoke about the after effects of the controversy. The actress mentioned that her renowned projects Naadaniyaa and The Traitors were shot before the big controversy and that she is struggling to get work.

In the video, Makhija mentioned that her work that's out now like The Traitors and Naadaniyaa were shot before the Laten controversy happened. She added that after the controversy, she's struggling to get work. She also mentioned about being ousted from her Mumbai apartment after getting embroiled in the controversy.
She added that her agreement of the house mentioned one year's lock-in period, but the owner declined to increase the contract. However, he did gave her one month's notice to find another house.
Recalling another incident, Apoorva stated that she found a nice apartment in a building, but the owner recognized her and refused to give the house on rent. Furthermore, the owner also blacklisted Apoorva from the entire building.
