The series is based on the book – ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat. It is directed by Bhav Dhulia, and produced by Friday Storytellers and Neeraj Pandey is the creator and show-runner.

While part 1 of the series was left on a cliffhanger, now, the series is coming back with the 2nd part, The Freelancer – The Conclusion. The series is going to show how Avinash will finally go on an extraction mission and save Aleeya from danger.

As the audience was waiting for the second part, it has now been released and we are here with the review of The Freelancer – The Conclusion.

The first part of the show had 4 episodes while now the second part has 7 episodes and we must say, the creators of the show have done an amazing job in building up the story and suspense as it will make you come to the edge of your seats with curiosity.

The creators have focused well on the detailing of the characters and scenes. The direction is on-point as we get to see what’s necessary in the frame and also get to know the context of a scene right on time. The series doesn’t have any songs but the BGM keeps you hooked and makes the scene more intense. The action is worth the wait.

Talking about the performances, Mohit Raina steals the show with his confidence and depth of emotions. Anupam Kher cannot be ignored as he plays a very pivotal role. Kashmira Pardeshi and John Kokken are surprise packages and have given a fine performance. Other actors like Sarah Jane Dias, Manjari Fadnnis, Ayesha Raza, Navneet Malik and many others have all contributed to the storyline well and we must say, every actor has played their character on point.

When it comes to presenting terrorism, usually we get to see only one side of the story but the creators of the show have done a wonderful job of showing both sides of a coin and it’s shown so beautifully.

However, if you have watched the 1st part of the series then you must keep a lot of patience while watching the 2nd part to reach the resuming point of the show. Also, we wish there would have been more action for us to watch.

Overall, this is a really good edge-of-the-seat thriller series that needs to be watched not just for the story but also for the performances. Tellychakkar gives this 2.5 out of 5.
