MUMBAI: Disha Salian, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, passed away on the intervening night of June 8-9, 2020. Disha, who was aged 28 at the time of her death, reportedly died by suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai. Her unfortunate demise made the headlines and left everyone shocked. Soon, the case snowballed into a political controversy.
Now, Disha's parents have written a letter to President Rath Nath Kovind to stop it all.

According to the letter, the father-son duo is allegedly politicizing their daughter’s death. It read, ‘We request you to issue directions to authorities to take appropriate steps so justice can be done, otherwise, we will end our lives’.
Earlier in the day, Disha Salian's mother Vasanti Salian made an emotional appeal to politicians to refrain from maligning the name of her daughter by questioning the circumstances surrounding her death. She had said, “I have lost my only daughter. These people are defaming us. They are dragging my daughter's name in their politics. This should stop. Let us live peacefully.”
Disha had managed the work of Bharti Singh, Rhea Chakraborty, and Varun Sharma. Last year, Mumbai Police closed the probe into the death of as no evidence of any foul play emerged in the case.
A case was registered against the Union MSME minister and his son Nitesh at the Malwani police station after the former, during a press conference on February 19, made certain remarks about Disha Salian’s death.
