MUMBAI: One of the much-awaited shows of Amazon Prime, titled Tandav, which was supposed to be out earlier, is finally all set for its premiere. Created and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar, the 9-part series features ensemble cast like Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias, Kritika Avasthi, Dino Morea, Annup Sonii, Kumud Mishra, Gauahar Khan, Sandhya Mridul, Hitten Ttejwani, Amyra Dastur, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Paresh Pahuja, and a few others.
Today, the makers and the cast of the show held a virtual press conference, where they have launched the trailer. The entire cast of the show was present, and everyone was excited to present this show to the audiences. They will all be seen in never seen before avatar in the political thriller drama.

In the event, Saif Ali Khan, the leading man of the show, who will be seen as Samar Pratap Singh, expressed that the challenging part was the long dialogues that had to be told at one go. But it was amazing fun shooting for the same. On the other hand, Dimple Kapadia, who makes her digital debut, said that it was the story and the strong writing that made her say yes for this project. Her character is completely different from what she has done so far. Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub pointed out at the event that the series is incomplete without any one character. Every single character is important, has its own story to tell, and contributes to the larger picture.
The trailer of the show takes viewers behind the closed, chaotic corridors of power and politics. Set in the capital of the world’s largest democracy, the series is a gripping, fictional drama that showcases the lengths to which people go in the pursuit of power.
Well, we look forward to seeing this amazing 9-episode political thriller series, which is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video starting January 15, 2021, in India and in over 240 countries and territories.
