MUMBAI: Netflix has a lot of promising content on its app. 

It is one of the biggest platforms for webseries and its original content makes the medium a must watch. One of the shows, it promises to entertain with is Bombay Begums. The show will narrate a tale of five women of different generations confront and redefine notions of ambition, empowerment and identity within the cutthroat world of Mumbai banking.

The series is written and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and the executive producer for the series is Chernin Entertainment and Endemol Shine India. 

Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bose are reported to star in the series already.

Pooja will play the role of the owner of the bank while Rahul Bose will play the role of her husband. Well, now we have information on the extended cast of the show. We also reported exclusively about Amruta Subhash, Shahana Goswami, Plabita Borthakur, Manish Choudhary and Rituraj Singh playing pivotal roles in the series.

The series will feature transgender Ivanka Das as the main Begum, a prostitute.
