MUMBAI : A lot of OTT series are being rolled out in the upcoming months. While several OTT shows are in the making process, some are all set to be launched on various OTT platforms soon.
Now there’s Sony LIV gearing up for a big release of an OTT series, Chamak, created by Rohit Jugraj. The series stars Paramvir Singh Cheema, Gippy Grewal, Isha Talwar, Mukesh Chhabra and many more.
The cast of the movie is quite vast and the series being a power-packed musical thriller, it features 14 artists and 28 songs.
The story is about Kaala, a young aspiring rapper who comes back to Punjab from Canada and unravels the death of a legendary singer Taara Singh who was shot dead while performing in a concert packed with audience.
After finding out about the death, Kaala’s life becomes a non-stop journey as he turns his way to the underbelly of the Punjab music industry, through politics, business feuds, family history, and much more.
Now while the teaser of the series was released a few weeks ago, we are now here with the trailer review of the series.
The trailer of Chamak has been released recently and the audience are loving it very much.
According to the trailer, Kaala gets determined to come back to India with a mission to find out the truth about Taara Singh, the artist who got shot on the stage while performing in front of a huge audience.
On his journey, he finds love in Jazz but soon the journey gets challenging and intense as he discovers the music company owned by Taara and also the people who are running it who are ready to make his life difficult.
It’ll be interesting to see how Kaala faces all the challenges, discovers the truth and gets the company back.
The trailer of the series looks very promising and it has raised the excitement amongst the audience. The series will be available to stream on SonyLIV on 7th December.
