MUMBAI : Urvashi Rautela made her debut as the female lead opposite Sunny Deol in with Singh Saab the Great (2013). Soon after, she delved into the South film industry and made her Kannada debut with Mr. Airavata. Though the film got negative reviews from the critics, her dancing was praised.
Following that, she appeared in Sanam Re and Great Grand Masti. She also appeared in the revenge drama Hate Story 4 and Anees Bazmee's comedy film Pagalpanti and she is all set with her forthcoming movie Virgin Bhanupriya which is a comedy film dealing with the topic of virginity.

Team TellyChakkar got a chance to speak with the actress on her role and the movie. She said that she is very happy with this project as after Ayushman Khurana doing taboo subjects and Akshay Kumar doing movie like Padman, she is the first actress to do a movie on a taboo subject. The actress also said that this type of movie should be made in India and the audience should be aware of such subjects and learn a lesson from them.
She added that her character of Bhanupriya Awasthi is a responsible girl who loves her parents a lot and wants to live a happy life. One day, on the family pandit reveals something, and Bhanupriya's life becomes exciting. How the situation around her changes is the story of the movie.
Well after Hate story 4, Great Grand Masti, and Pagalpanti, it would be interesting to see her play Bhanupriya.
Directed by Ajay Lohan, Virgin Bhanupriya was supposed to have a theatrical release, but due to the pandemic issue all over, it will have a digital release on July 16th on ZEE5. It also stars Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh, Niki Walia, and Rumana Molla in the lead roles.
