MUMBAI: Over time we have seen some amazing clashes at the box office, right from Sholay and Jai Santoshi Maa, to Om Shanti Om and Sawariya we have seen some amazing battles of Bollywood movies releasing on the same date. In this new normal where the theatres are partially open in a few states of the country, we can see major movies are taking the digital route to reach their audience.
We have seen some big movies coming on digital platforms since the 2020 lockdown and now digital platforms are all set to witness the three-way clash on the 29th of October as there are three movies coming on a single day. Yes, you heard right digital will see one of the major clashes on 29th October as there are not only two but three releases on a single date.

The first movie is Neha Sharma starrer Aafat-E-Ishq which is said to be a horror-comedy, upon the release of the trailer today the actress is getting some amazing response and the fans are waiting to see this gripping tale on 29th October on Zee5. Aafat-E-Ishq is directed by Indrajit Nattoji. The second movie which will premiere on 29th October is Hum Do Hamare Do which is directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film features Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak Shah along Aparshakti Khurana, Manu Rishi and Prachi Shah in supporting roles. The story is about a young couple (played by Rao and Sanon) keen to adopt parents. The film will be released digitally on 29 October 2021 on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
The last film which will premiere on the same date is the horror film Dybbuk – The Curse is Real which will have Emraan Hashmi along with Manav Kaul and Nikita Dutta. This movie is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam horror film Ezra, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Written and directed by Jay Krishnan, Dybbuk – The Curse is Real will premiere on October 29 on Amazon Prime Video.
