Raveena Tandon, who plays the character of Indrani Kothari in the series, got in touch with a media outlet where she talked about the life of 90s actresses, evolution of Govinda and much more.

Life of 90s actress

On this, Raveena Tandon said that the actresses of this new age are very lucky, hardworking and come with a lot of preparation because in our time, due to the pay disparity, if the actor was doing 3 movies, we would be doing 30 movies. Raveena added that the kind of performance she gave in her 20th or 30th film, we can see actresses like Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone giving that kind of performance in their 3rd or 5th movie which means that their growth is amazing. Talking about Namrata Sheth and Varun Sood, Raveena tandon said that from the first day of shoot, they had no hesitation and it’s a brilliant development. The actors now have workshops which were not the kind of luxury we had at our time.

Bonding between fellow actresses

On this, Raveena Tandon said that they would not really meet very often as they were all busy with shootings. Pointing out at the effect of social media, Raveena Tandon said that due to social media we now come to know where who is doing what and wearing what but in their time it wasn’t the case and it was a much simpler time.

Changes or Evolution in Govinda, not being able to maintain his image at the peak of his career

On this, Raveena Tandon said that the kind of movies where Govinda’s talent can be put to use are not being made because according to Raveena Tandon, there’s no other actor born like Govinda as he is an actor who can make you laugh and cry in the same scene. Raveena Tandon also added that she used to watch Govinda perform and learnt comic timing from him and that there is no one compared to him.
