MUMBAI: Fans and netizens are really excited as the brand new season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss is back this year with it's OTT version, which would be streaming on the OTT platform Voot.
The show's authentic format has undergone many alterations for this brand new season with it being aired for three months on the OTT channel Voot, before switching back to Colors TV channel for it's regular airing as Bigg Boss 15.
For the breaking development, it's known by now that famous Bollywood director and producer - Karan Johar will be hosting Bigg Boss OTT for these three months and Salman would take over as the host of Bigg Boss 15 once the show airs on the small screen. Reportedly, Karan has also started shooting for the same.
As per the latest reports, the finalised list of Bigg Boss 15's participants includes celebrities from the entertainment industry like Millind Gaba, Zeeshan Khan, Neha Bhasin, Akshara Singh, Divya Agarwal, Ridhima Pandit, Raqesh Bapat, Nishant Bhat, Pratik Sehajpal and lastly, Karan Nath.
Now, in a recent interview with telly actor and Bigg Boss OTT's contestant Karan Nath, the actor got pretty candid about his excitement for participating in the popular reality show, his fan following and many other things.
He was heard expressing, "I was like 'yes I wanted to do this for sure'...something which I wanted to do in the past but it didn't workout back then but now I'm really happy that I am part of this show...". He also stated that it's streaming on OTT Voot makes it more special!
Now, on being asked as to why he decided to participate in Bigg Boss OTT and for what reason since everyone has one backdrop story or the other, Karan Nath revealed, "I think you know what, this is a game show which really tests your patience and your mental strength and all that. So in that way, I am very tough, mentally I am really tough and umm I have tremendous patience level.".
Karan further added, "So I wanna just test myself and this is something I've obviously (you know) never really done in the past.".
Clearly, it's his first time at Bigg Boss which makes it the governing reason behind his excitement for participating in the show and he's looking forward to performing the challenges inside the Bigg Boss house.
On being asked whether the show turned out as a 'blessing in disguise' for him for providing him with the final push towards his fans after a long time, he stated that there's a difference between doing movies and participating in game shows. He asserted, "Bigg Boss is a big game show, it has tremendous following and I always want to be a part of this show. The reason why I'm doing this show was (as I said) I want to test myself and enjoy this whole process of being part of Bigg Boss...".
Karan added, "We all have our journeys we go through, ups and downs in life and as actors, we have hits, we have flops, we have everything.".
After talking about his past setback and recent comeback (last year itself with a movie), he stated, "I am kind of making my debut" and further asserted on his OTT debut.
Lastly, emphasising his participatory excitement, he claimed, "I would love to win this show, I'll try my best and set an example for other people also....to take Bigg Boss as a relaunching pad or...yeah, I think that's what it would be.".
