MUMBAI: Actress Priya Banerjee is ready to surprise audiences once again, this time with her intense and unpredictable avatar in Heartbreaker, a new series helmed by Vikram Bhatt. Talking about her role, Priya shared, “Yes, it’s a grey character and always the most exciting kind of roles are grey. She’s complicated, as we all are but she’s intense. And to play a character like this, you need immense versatility and range as an actor.”
The show, which will stream in a vertical format, pushes boundaries on multiple levels not just emotionally, but also technically. “Honestly, I didn’t have much time to prepare for the character,” she added. “And for the first time, I’m trying my hands with this format. Vertical format is the future for sure and I’m glad I got to venture into it with such an impactful role.”
With mystery, romance, and darkness colliding in her character’s journey, Heartbreaker promises to explore the thin line between love and destruction. Banerjee, who’s made a mark with her strong OTT performances, seems all set to deliver one of her most powerful portrayals yet.
