Winters are almost here and we all know the biggest trouble people face during the winters is not hiding out in comfy woollens, but the dry skin peeking just underneath.
We can tirelessly apply moisturizers to our skin but to no avail. Here are some easy DIY moisturizer recipes to help you soothe your skin and be less fretty about your skin.
1. Beeswax, Almond Oil and Coconut Oil moisturizer:
Method: Start by melting the beeswax using the double boiler method and mix in coconut oil and almond oil in it too. Once the mixture cools, add in aloe vera gel and the essential oil. Blend it until creamy and then store in a jar to use it on your skin.
2. Coconut oil and Vitamin E:
Method: Melt the coconut oil and then add in a teaspoon of vitamin E with a few drops of Lavender essential oil. Once the mixture is blended and solidifies again, store in a container and use your DIY moisturizer.
3. Honey and Glycerin Moisturizer:
Method: Mix a teaspoon of honey, 2 tsp of glycerin, 1 tsp of lemon juice and 2 tsp of green tea extract in a container until they blend. Massage it gently over your face and let it remain for 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
