Before Megha, there were several television actresses who followed the trend of wearing the classic reds and maroons on their wedding day and skipped the pastel hues.

MUMBAI: Sahil Phull and Megha Chakraborty's wedding was the talk of the town.

The couple are now finally married and the duo shared lovely moments from the wedding day on social media.

While Sahil looked dapper in a white sherwani, Megha looked surreal in a classic red lehenga with golden work.

Megha's look was elegant and beautiful and she carried it like a true diva.

1. Surbhi Jyoti:

Television diva Surbhi who got married to beau Sumit Suri last year in October opted for a beautiful golden and maroon lehenga designed by Neeta Lulla. Everything about Surbhi's look was perfect.

2. Arti Singh

The stunning diva Arti who got married to Dipak Chauhan also chose the classic red colored lehene[ga for her wedding day. Arti's lehenga was a beautiful combination of red and gold and she looked surreal.

3. Sonarika Bhadoria

The Devon Ke Dev Mahadev fame Sonarika looked like a million bucks in a red fishtail lehenga with golden work. Sonarika is one of very few brides who chose a fishtail lehenga for her wedding day.

4. Shrenu Parikh

The Ishqbaaaz fame also opted for a beautiful maroon and orange lehenga paired with heavy jewellery. Shrenu looked out of the world in her wedding attire.

5. Sreejita De

The Bong beauty Sreejita who got married last year as per Bengali rituals opted for a traditional red saree for her wedding with beau Michael Blohm Pape.

Apart from the above actresses, Sargun Mehta, Mouni Roy, Sharddha Arya, Drashti Dhami, Disha Parmar, Mansi Srivastava, Payal Rohatgi, among others also ditched pastel colors and opted for dark colors like red, orange, and maroon for their wedding outfits.
