5 SRK cameos we love

We take a look at five of Shah Rukh Khan's best cameos, ahead of his much-talked about special role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil...
Shah Rukh Khan

He’s the undisputed king of Bollywood, whose mere appearance can make us flock to the screens. While we were craving a full-fledged Shah Rukh Khan serving this Diwali, we have to make-do with a cameo alone as he plays a tiny role in BFF Karan Johar’s romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The multi-starrer is set to release in October. As we wait to know what arch SRK has in the love story, we take you through his five special appearances that we absolutely love. Read on:

Saathiya:

As an influential guy, whose wife rammed her car into Rani Mukerjee’s character, Shah Rukh was perfect. He played up his vulnerability rather well and won us over instantly.

Billu:

He played himself aka a superstar in this modern day Krishna-Sudama story. Even though the movie revolved around Irrfan Khan’s character, Shah Rukh gave his minute role a lot of heart.

Bhootnath Returns:

He played Banku’s (Akhrot’s friend) father and dished out valuable advice to his reel’s friend, which came in handy when the kid took part in elections along with Bhootnath.

Heyy Baby:

He appears as one of the potential lovers and fathers of Vidya Balan and her baby, respectively. While He turns out to be neither, he adds the much-needed twist to the drama, making Akshay Kumar’s character rather jealous.

Luck By Chance:

Playing himself, he helped out Farhan Akhtar’s struggling actor character with many tips and suggestions in the glossy fare.
