The most awaited awards of the year is here, and how! From watching our favorite Stars winning the coveted golden statue to taking fashion cues from the celebs, it's the highest point of our year so far. We round up the best dressed ladies at the red carpet...take a look:
Priyanka Chopra:
She's firmly put India on the global map with her sassy sartorial choice at the Oscars. In a lace-sheet white Zuhair Murad creation, she absolutely slayed at the red carpet. Hair in a neat ponytail, drop earrings and minimal makeup, PeeCee showed us what a goddess she is. Way to go, miss!
Olivia Wilde:
Trust Ms Wilde to make heads turn effortlessly. In a plunging white Valentino gown, the actress looked ethereal. The daring Grecian dress might not be our cuppa tea, but she sure makes it work.
Saoirse Ronan:
In a stunning teal Calvin Klein piece, Saoirse looked every bit the diva she is. The sparkly dress showed off her enviable curves in the most flattering way possible. Also, brownie points for slightly tussled hair and flawless makeup and accessories.
Cate Blanchett:
It's okay if you're feeling a little jealous of Cate's oh-so perfect Armani gown. The daring neckline and floral detail only add to her beauty, eh? If you're done gasping, we suggest you take a moment to let it all sink in.
Rachel McAdams:
Even in a simple green August Getty Atelier gown, McAdams make a bold statement. A thigh-high slit, a low bun and diamond accessories wind up the no-fuss look.
Jennifer Lawrence:
The red carpet delight went slightly daring and funky in a beige and black Dior gown. The sheer bust and accentuated lower give her a neat put-together look. We can't stop looking at her. You?
Charlize Theron:
It's rather tricky to pick a red gown for a red carpet event, but Theron makes it work...and how! In a plunging Dior gown that shows off a dazzling neckpiece, the actress turned heads like no other.
Brie Larson:
When you're sure (well, mostly) to win the Best Actress award at the event, you gotta choose the most flattering gown for the event. Brie did exactly that in a deep blue Gucci gown...an interesting belt at the waist and frill details at the pleats lend the gown a structured vibe.
Rooney Mara:
Her attitude, the cut-out details, bold lipstick and fierce hair...phew...we could go on and on. That's how effective Rooney was at the Oscars in a white, 3/4th sleeved Givenchy creation. Sigh.
Naomi Watts:
Another deep blue sighting at the carpet had Watts in a striking Armani off-shoulder gown. A statement neckpiece and bold lips finished out her look. She's a force to reckon with. Well, we could take one more life and still not look as good as her.
