Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is of the view that his 1995 film Sarfarosh had all the ingredients of which a sequel could be made.
And to push things further, the actor has even spoken to John Mathew Matthan, who had directed the original, about the possibility of doing a sequel.
Confirming the development, Aamir said in a statement, “In Sarfarosh the character continues. I had a word with John and he is writing the script, but it’s too early to speak about it.”
The actor, who tends to sign on for a project only after reading the script, says that this film will not be an exception. He says, “I have to like it (the script) and both of us have to be equally excited about it. Then we can say we are doing it,” he added.
Incidentally, Aamir had even thought that Andaz Apna Apna could have a sequel and had even spoken to director Rajkumar Santoshi about it but unfortunately the project got shelved.
