MUMBAI: Laal Singh Chaddha was the last film that Aamir Khan starred in. The movie was a Hindi version of the Hollywood production Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. The Hindi film, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh, was directed by Advait Chandan. Critics gave LSC favorable reviews, but the public wasn't really impressed. Although opinions on Junaid Khan's Maharaj are divided, many people are talking about the significant problem it raises. Religious issue also caused a delay in the film's release, but the team behind the film won the legal battle. Moreover, Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies received support this year from Aamir Khan's production company. Since its Netflix debut, the movie has been incredibly well-received by viewers. In terms of numbers, the theatrical reception wasn't all that great. Aamir and his family have had a good year, but Junaid has revealed something shocking.

Superstar Aamir Khan's father, Junaid Khan, revealed in an interview with the Times of India that he considered retiring. The Dangal star was going through his "I am retiring phase," according to the Maharaj, who disclosed that while he was on a movie set, Kiran was preoccupied with Laapataa Ladies after he finished shooting. Even after telling his son the same thing, Aamir instructed him to take over the production company.

According to Junaid Khan, he filled in for his dad during his "retiring" phase since he had a reasonable understanding of production. Producing films is, in Junaid's opinion, one of the hardest things a filmmaker does. The actor went on to say that neither Reena Dutta nor Aamir were worried about his feature debut. They were content, and Aamir thought the movie was great. Siddharth P. Malhotra is the director of Maharaj, which also features Sharvari, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shalini Pandey.
