"On the eve of the little ones presence in this world .. love and blessings and wishes for all her wishes to come true... Aaradhya Bachchan, the blessings of a daughter in the house. Live long, live happy (and) live with pride," Bachchan wrote.

Abhishek too shared a photograph of himself with Aaradhya and Aishwarya on Instagram and said that she is the pride and joy of the family.

"Happy birthday little princess! You are the pride and joy of the family. I pray you remain the ever smiling, innocent and loving girl that you are. Love you with all my heart," he captioned the image.

Abhishek and Aishwarya got married in 2007. In 2011, the two welcomed their first child -- Aaradhya, who is popularly called as "Beti B" by fans.

Content is the new entertainment: Rajkummar Rao

Actor Rajkummar Rao, who has delivered some path-breaking performances since his Bollywood debut, says content is the new entertainment -- whether it is through the web, films or audio -- and that he is glad to be part of such a welcome change.

The actor, who was present at the launch of Audible.in, a dedicated service for Indians by Audible, the world's leading seller and producer of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word content, told a leading publication: "I think content is the new entertainment. People want to experience something new, be it on-screen or audio. The definition of entertainment is definitely changing and I'm glad that I get to be a part and contribute to this welcome change."

Rajkummar, along with actresses Radhika Apte and Kalki Koechlin have come together for the first time to narrate the audible adaptation of Hussain Zaidi's novel, Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

Asked how important is it for such stories to be told, he said, "I think it's extremely important because till date we only know about the men in mafia, but these remarkable women are worth knowing, the situations that shaped their lives and the emotions that shaped their destiny."

Did he get a chance to read the book?

"I did not get a chance to read the book prior to coming on board for Audible. Thanks to this collaboration, I not only got to narrate the Mafia Queens of Mumbai, but also discover the complex situations, characters and uncertainty that shaped each of these women's stories. Through the book I discovered a whole new Mumbai.

"The character that I liked the most was of ‘Sapna Didi' - the way she changed herself to avenge her husband, her life, her vengeance... It is so powerful. I was narrating her story, but also listening to it for the first time and it was fascinating. For me, Sapna's story was a thriller and romance combined into one, it was shocking, gripping and impressive to know what she went through. I know it's going to be a favourite among listeners," he said.

Rajkummar, who was last seen on-screen in Stree, says he would love to work with Radhika and Kalki in films too.

"It has to be a story where we can all do justice to our parts and have good roles. But of course I would love to work with Radhika and Kalki," he said.

It never felt like work with Big B: Shoojit Sircar

Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, who has collaborated with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in several films and commercials, says the actor makes the atmosphere so relaxed and friendly that it hardly feels like work.

"Shooting with him is more like having a fulfilling conversation with a friend, as we talk about movies, sports, books and all that's happening around the world. It never felt like work with him, although when he delivers a shot, it is always pitch perfect," Sircar said in a statement.

After working together in hit films like Pink and Piku, the actor-filmmaker duo has now joined forces for an advertisement in which Amitabh is playing a Sikh army man.

On Big B's role in the commercial and how he used to get emotional while playing the character, Shoojit added, "Mr. Bachchan told me that every time he gets to play a Sikh character, he remembers his mother, Teji Bachchan. His mother was Sikh and representative of the robust Punjabi culture.

"He feels that both his mother and his grandfather would have been very proud to see him play a Sikh army man."

Big B pens letter to Neena Gupta after watching 'Badhaai Ho'

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan wrote a personalised note to veteran actress Neena Gupta after watching her latest entertainer Badhaai Ho as he was highly impressed by her performance in the film.

Neena, who essays the role of a 50-year-old expecting mother in the film, took to Instagram to share a snapshot the letter. She captioned it, "Aapse ye patr aur pushp paake ankhen khushi se bhar aain. Thank you so much, Amitabh Bachchan sir. (Got tears in my eyes after receiving this letter and flowers from you. Thank you Amitabh Bachchan sir)."

In the letter, Big B, 76, praised the film and the acting by the entire cast. He said he got tears of joy after watching it.

Badhaai Ho, which also stars Gajraj Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra, is based on the story of an elderly couple who are expecting their third child.

As of 5 November, the film had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.

Actor Varun Sharma gets sweaters for strays

Actor Varun Sharma bought sweaters and socks for stray dogs here. He hopes that it helps them survive the harsh winter.

"Due to harsh winter in Chandigarh, it is very difficult for us to survive forget about animals. The temperature falls to around eight degrees which makes these pets really uncomfortable in the winter. So, I thought let us do something for them and I got some sweaters and socks for them. I hope it helps them survive," Varun said in a statement.

Varun, who is currently busy with his next film Chhichhore, is taking a break from the shoot and is going to Chandigarh to spend some quality time with his family.

Gulshan Devaiah did action scenes despite knee surgery

Actor Gulshan Devaiah shot for intense action scenes in Vasan Bala's Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota despite having undergone a knee surgery. He says he had to be extra careful as there was a greater risk involved.

"One of the two characters that I essay in the film is the role of a Karateka for which I had to be on point with the action. And the fact that I was just recovering from a serious knee surgery, I had to be extra careful, as there was a greater risk involved. My right knee was the one that was surgically put back together," Gulshan said in a statement.

The actor trained three days a week for four months. Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota marks the second collaboration of Gulshan and Bala after the 2012 crime thriller film Peddlers.

He says he had to do everything from his "weak left leg".

"With me having to kick and land on the same foot while staying true to the Kyokushin karate style, it also was a tricky task for the trainers and the action choreographers.

"However, we were so careful while shooting the action scenes that I did not have any minor injuries during the entire duration of the shoot," Gulshan said.

In the film, the actor plays a double role.

Gulshan is currently seen playing a Bihari gangster in a web-series titled Smoke.
