Aashiqui 3: Triptii Dimri still a part of Anurag Basu directorial?

Kartik Aaryan is going to be the male lead of Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu. However, for some reason, after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s huge success at the box office, there were reports pointing out that Triptii Dimri was not a part of the movie anymore.

MUMBAI: Aashiqui 2 is one of the most loved romantic musical movies, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. The movie is loved even today for its storyline and songs. After a huge success, there were reports about makers trying to come out with Aashiqui 3.

There were many reports suggesting Kartik Aaryan as the male lead and after a long time, it was also said that Triptii Dimri will be cast opposite Kartik Aaryan. However, for some reason, after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s huge success at the box office, there were reports pointing out that Triptii Dimri was not a part of the movie anymore and the reason stated was that the makers were looking for an actress who possesses ‘innocennce’.

However, things have taken an interesting turn now as Anurag Basu has stepped up and said that Triptii Dimri is still a part of the project.
