MUMBAI :Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan's happiness knew no limits when he discovered that his favorite snack was available for delivery on the online food delivery service Swiggy. The actor was extra happy when something happened after he posted about his excitement on Instagram.
The menu of Mamledar Misal, a well-known restaurant in Mumbai, was featured in an Instagram Story that Abhishek posted on Wednesday and is available for delivery through Swiggy. He pointed to the outlet's best-selling item, Mamledar Misal Pav, which costs Rs 90 and is his favorite snack. He wrote, “Oh Swiggy, I love you. #BestMisalInTheWorld.”
Abhishek Bachchan received a kind response from Swiggy. Along with sending his favorite snack, Jalsa, to his Mumbai home, they also praised him for acknowledging them on social media. The platform's website released a humorous video referring to Abhishek's role as ACP Jai Dixit in the highly successful Dhoom trilogy.
The caption read, “Oh @bachchan we love you too.” Abhishek, known for his wit, immediately responded with a cheeky message: “Arresting y’all for delivering the yummiest misal.”
Abhishek Bachchan declared misal to be his favourite dish and Mamledar Misal his go-to restaurant in an interview with Yum Yum Kitchen last year. He said, “I am a big misal fry person. Every morning, when I am shooting, I eat it. For me, the best misal comes from Thane. There is a place called Mamledar Misal.”
Regarding his career, Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming film is Be Happy by Remo D'Souza, starring his father Amitabh Bachchan and Nora Fatehi.
