In just four years, one such actress—who played the lead opposite multiple celebrities—left the business, leaving her fans surprised.

The actress in question has left the country and now leads a quiet life away from the spotlight. It took her just one TV ad to become renowned. She is none other than the cute and charming Anjali Jathar.
Before leaving the business, Anjali Jathar, an Indian actress and model, appeared in just nine films; however, none of them did well at the box office. In 1991, Jathar appeared in a Liril soap commercial before moving to Bollywood. She became well-known for this and was dubbed the "Liril girl."
With the release of Madhosh in 1994, Anjali made her Hindi Film debut alongside Aamir Khan's brother Faisal Khan. But at the box office, the movie wasn't a big hit. She appeared with Ajay Devgn in Aazmayish, in Trimurti with Shah Rukh Khan, and in Gundaraj with Ajay Devgn in 1995. In 1996, she starred in movies such as Shastra, Vishwasghaat, and Bhishma.
Sadly, all of her movies were box office bombs and didn't do well. Her most recent appearance was in the 1998 film Khotey Sikke.
Another person connected to Anjali Jathar's name was Hindi Film actor Arshad Warsi, best known for playing Circuit in Munnabhai MBBS. According to reports, the two were engaged and ready to tie the knot when their romance broke up.
Following this, Anjali Jathar left the movie industry and wed Kaushik Paul. Riaan is the name of the couple's son. In addition to leaving the movie business, the actress departed India for the US and settled in San Francisco. They eventually relocated to Raleigh, where she currently owns and operates the Anjali Jathar Bollywood Dance Academy.
