MUMBAI: Aditi Dhiman is a well known actress in the entertainment business and she has a good fan following.
She was recently seen in one of the most controversial movies Humare Barah starring Anu Kapoor where she played a pivotal character.
Tellychkkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what she thinks about the Social Media pressure and is she open in doing OTT projects.
Social media allows actors to interact with their audience, but it also exposes them to negativity and trolls. How do you deal with social media?
I choose to ignore negativity on social media. People often judge without knowing the person behind the screen, which I find superficial. Initially, dealing with death threats and rape threats was tough, but I'm grateful to the Maharashtra government for ensuring my safety and reassurance.
OTT platforms are expanding rapidly. Are you open to OTT projects, and do you have reservations about the types of characters you would portray, considering some OTT roles are bold?
Yes, I'm open to OTT projects. OTT has showcased brilliant performances and talented actors. As for the characters I portray, it's a personal choice. Bold scenes are not necessary to showcase talent; even subtle expressions can convey emotions effectively. I would avoid bold scenes because they don't align with my comfort zone.
Well, no doubt that the fans loved Aditi in the movie and her acting was appreciated by both the critics and the audience.
