MUMBAI : Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari have decided against having a lavish vacation wedding. Rather, they have opted to exchange vows at a location that holds particular significance for both of their families. The actress disclosed that the wedding plans are in motion in a recent interview. She gave some information about her unusual wedding site even though she declined to provide the wedding date.

Opening up about her upcoming wedding, Aditi said, “The wedding will be centred around a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy that is of significance to my family.” Adding about how he proposed to her, Aditi said, “I was closest to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddarth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her.”
She added, “He got down on his knee and I asked him, ‘Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’ He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me’. And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings.”
This year in March, they made their engagement public. Supporters mistook their engagement ceremony for a nuptial ceremony. In order to make it clear that they are not yet married but are in the process of getting married, the couple had to take to social media. The couple had been in a relationship for some years.

On the work front, Aditi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, while Siddharth was seen in Kama Haasan’s Indian 2.
