MUMBAI : The Supreme Court declared its verdict and ordered a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. After over two months since the Dil Bechara actor’s demise, with fans, friends, and family demanding a CBI investigation to understand the reason behind Sushant’s mysterious death, the Supreme Court passed its judgement in the Rhea Chakraborty petition. Reacting to the news, the late actor’s friend Sandip Ssingh who received backlash from social media users took to social media to thank the SC for its verdict on the CBI probe.
On Instagram, late Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Sandip Ssingh made a post on social media after the Supreme Court declared its verdict in Rhea Chakraborty’s plea. Sharing a picture of the late actor from a scene in his film Chhichhore, Sandip Ssingh wrote, “Thank you #SupremeCourt Finally.”

In the post, Sandip Ssingh thanked the Supreme Court for its verdict. He then wrote, “Finally,” and expressed his joy over the Supreme Court directing CBI to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. While Sandip made a post praising and thanking the judgement of the Supreme Court, he limited the comments on his post. After the backlash Ssingh received from social media users due to his statements in the media and lots more, Rajput’s friend made sure he does not pay heed to trolls by limiting his comments.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court had reserved its verdict and asked all the parties to submit their response, before the final verdict. The Centre, in its response, supported CBI for SSR after accepting the request made by the Bihar government. The petition in the Supreme Court was filed by Rhea Chakraborty, seeking transfer of SSR’s case from Bihar to Mumbai, after the late actor’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against the Jalebi actress and five others, in Patna, accusing them of abetment of suicide.
