Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan hint at a possible ‘Ishq’ sequel, fans rejoice

MUMBAI: Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn came together in 1997 for the romantic comedy ‘Ishq’. The movie also starred Juhi Chawla and Kajol as female leads. The movie delivered some hilarious scenes and intense emotions which is remembered even today. The comedy of the movie is something that attracts even the younger generations.

So today, at the muhurat event of an upcoming movie, ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn were also present and the actors revealed some very interesting things about a sequel to ‘Ishq’.

Aamir Khan said, “Often milte nahi hai but when do meet it’s with a lot of warmth and love and I really like the guy he is.”

Ajay Devgn added to this by saying, “I was just telling him that we had so much fun on the sets of Ishq, we should do another one.”
Aamir Khan agreed saying, “Yeah we should!”

However, hinting at the idea of a sequel, Aamir Khan also revealed something from the time of shooting for the 1997 movie and said, “Chimpanzee attacked me once. You know woh sequence mein chimpanzee tha...”

Ajay Devgn interrupted and said, “Usmein masti Aamir ki hi thi” but Aamir Khan playfully denied it at first. However, he later agreed that Ajay Devgn saved him by pulling him out of the moving vehicle.

Talking about Tera Yaar Hoon Main, the movie is directed and written by Milap Zaveri and features Paresh Rawal and Akanksha Sharma. The movie will mark debut of Aman Indra Kumar, son of famous producer Indra Kumar.
