MUMBAI : According to Ajay Devgn, he is not in a rush to release Singham again. The actor stated that he and director Rohit Shetty are no longer eyeing the August 15 release date during the trailer launch for his next movie, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Additionally, he disclosed that several sections of the movie remain in filming. He stated that Singham 3 would be released whenever they considered it suitable.

“I am not sure (about the release date). Jo kaam chal raha tha film mein woh abhi tak khatam nahi hua hai, thodi bahut shooting bhi baaki hai. Toh hum koi jaldi mein nahi hai, kyunki jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai. Toh jab hum tayyar ho jayenge tab hum release karenge (The work on the film, which kicked off earlier, has not been completed yet and a few portions of shoot is pending as well. We do not want to release the film in a hurry because that often ruins it. So when it is read, we will release it then),” Ajay said, as reported by the popular news portal.

Singham Again was originally reported to release on Independence Day this year. The film was set to lock horns with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule. With Ajay’s new update, it seems like the films will no longer clash at the box office.

Rohit Shetty established a cop universe in Bollywood with three of his big movies – Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. While Ajay plays the role of Singham, Ranveer Singh essays the role of Simmba and Akshay Kumar plays Sooryavanshi. The three superstars will now unite in Singham Again.

In addition to Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor will play a significant role in Singham Again. He recently completed filming the movie and posted on social media, “Rohit Shetty ke cop universe ka villain !!! I have wrapped up my work on ‘Singham Again’ !!! My 20th film & one of the biggest milestones of my career with a director who is the boss of MASS CINEMA !!! I feel blessed to be a part of one of the most entertaining franchises in Indian cinema. Can’t wait for our hard work to light up the silver screen soon !!!”

Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan will also feature in Rohit Shetty's film. Tiger Shroff will also make his cop debut in the movie.
