MUMBAI : Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were all set to tie the know in April this year, however all plans were cancelled due to the pandemic. While earlier it was reported that the couple will get married in the latter half of 2020, it now looks like Richa and Ali have decided to take their wedding vows next years. “Let's see when we are able to accept the new normal, then, we will decide on a date, maybe early next year," Ali confirmed to Mumbai Mirror. While his lady love Richa Chadha had expressed, “So, it is only pragmatic to push the wedding to the coming year in the interest of everyone who would wish to attend."

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were to register their wedding first and then host a grand wedding celebration with their family and friends, across three cities-Lucknow, Delhi, and Mumbai. While the invites were yet to be sent, the couple had reportedly finalised everything but had to cancel it all due to the pandemic. Opening up about his wedding plans getting postponed, Ali had previously told BT, “We were supposed to get married, but it has been pushed. Of course, it is a bit disheartening because we were all geared up, and preparations were on in full swing. But it’s fine. We didn’t want to make a big noise about our wedding. It is just the next step forward in our lives.”
